The Hemelberg Guesthouse and Conference Facility project entailed the design and construction management of a boutique guesthouse and multifunctional conference venue located in the picturesque Banhoek Valley, between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Spanning 3 hectares of natural landscape, the project includes 13 luxury guest rooms, a restored manor house, and modern function/boardroom spaces, all designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
The project’s focus was on creating an upscale yet serene atmosphere that celebrates the region’s natural beauty, complemented by high-end finishes and amenities. The scope of work included managing the architectural design, interior design, construction management, and landscaping, ensuring that the guesthouse offers both comfort and an immersive nature experience. The conference facility is tailored for both corporate and private events, with the latest audiovisual technology, adaptable layouts, and elegant decor. The project was driven by sustainable design principles, with a focus on energy efficiency and the conservation of local biodiversity.
